Our resilience and proactive approach enable us to remain agile and responsive to challenges and opportunities.

Negros Electric and Power Corp. (NEPC) stands at the threshold of a transformative journey. We are poised to redefine the future of electricity distribution in the Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. (CENECO) franchise area. NEPC, operating under the auspices of Primelectric Holdings, Inc. (PRIME), is a beacon of innovation and progress, a catalyst for economic development in Western Visayas.

Our mission is clear: to establish, operate, and maintain an advanced distribution system for electric power, ensuring the public’s interests are well-served. Once the franchise is granted, we will usher in a new era, with CENECO acquiring a 30% stake in NEPC, fostering a partnership rooted in revitalization and modernization.

NEPC’s commitment is two-fold: modernize CENECO’s distribution system while nurturing the economic growth of Central Negros. Our journey is a testament to the power of collaboration, investment, and expertise to bridge the gaps in the current electricity distribution system.

CORPORATE BACKGROUND

Negros Electric and Power Corporation has been working hard to enhance power distribution and customer service in the franchised area. This journey began when Primelectric proposed a Joint Venture Agreement (JVA) to Central Negros Electric Cooperative (CENECO) on February 16, 2023, seeking guidance from the National Electrification Administration (NEA).

With NEA’s consent and the required documentation, the plebiscite results were revealed in favorof the JVA, leading to Negros Power’s submission of a franchise application to Congress. Negros Power is fully prepared and dedicated to serving the wonderful people of Negros with strength and compassion, prioritizing the delivery of top-notch power services.

Negros Power is committed to providing essential and efficient services to our consumers, focusing on a sustainable energy future for all Negrosanons while ensuring service excellence extends beyond just electricity.
